Tangen-samlingen to Kristiansand:
Kristiansand is recieving the Tangen collection of art. This is a private collection of contemporary Norwegian art given by the financial fund manager Nicolai Tangen. The gift includes works with a estimated value of 150 million.
Tangen samlingen består av over 1000 verk. Den omtales av kunsteksperter som den største samlingen, både i privat og offentlig eie, av toneangivende kunstnere virksomme i perioden 1930-1970. Den private samlingen inneholder viktige verk av kunstnere som blant andre Gunnar S. Gundersen, Johs. Rian, Reidar Aulie, Anna-Eva Bergman, Rolf Nesch, Henrik Finne, Sigurd Winge, Knut Rumohr, Ludvig Eikaas, Paul Rene Gauguin, Per Kleiva, Sidsel Westbø, Guttorm Guttormsgard, Zdenka Rusova og Richard Warsinski.
Tangen collection: Containing over 1,000 works. Considered by art experts as the greatest collection, both in private and public ownership. It includes leading artists active in the period 1930-1970. The private collection includes important works by artists such as, Gunnar S. Gundersen, Johs.
