"Les Femmes d'Alger," or "The Women of Algiers," is now definitively a masterpiece of contemporary art. Painted in his signature cubist style, Picasso, painted it as an homage to his friend and rival, Henri Matisse. The rivalry is now set as far as auction prices are concerned?
