 The Henie Onstad Kunstsenter (HOK) is busy preparing for a spectacular exhibition opening on February 19th. Visitors will be invited to enter into Japanse artist Yayoi Kusama's world of colours, patterns and movement. The enormously productive career of this Japanese artist spans over 70 years.

2016 preceded by one of HOK 's biggest initiatives ever:  the entire width of the oeuvre of Japanese Yayoi Kusama is summarized in the exhibition "Infinity".

-We Are proud to bring this exhibition to Norway and Høvikodden . The exhibition is a collaboration between HOK , Louisiana in Copenhagen , Moderna Museet in Stockholm and Helsinki Art Museum . HOK is the second stop after Louisiana where the exhibition was seen by over 100,000 only first exhibition month, said Director Tone Hansen .

The exhibition displays the entire Kusama lifework together a whole new series of paintings and a whole new experience work created especially for this exhibition.

-The Now 86 year old Kusama has worked across the artistic and commercial field , in a career spanning over 70 years. The characteristic imagery and her ongoing artistic renewal has made her mark and signature polka dots , known worldwide.

Observingarts: The Broad opened on September 20, Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES —For the first time in its 40-year history, the postwar and contemporary art collection assembled by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad will be shown to the public in its most comprehensive installation when The Broad opened on September 20.

 Galleries on the 15,000-square-foot first floor focus almost exclusively on the collection’s most recent artworks, dating from 2000 to the present—many of which will have their debut showing in Los Angeles. Those works include Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room, 2013, a mirrorlined chamber housing a dazzling and seemingly endless LED light display.
